In a world of Ceramic and Graphene "Everything" is there still room for a product that depends on nature for its results- instead of Marketing Hoopla? Well, when that product out cleans all others and makes your paint healthy at the same time. We boldly say "YES!"
Regular car soaps dry out surfaces and are not that great for your paint. Lithium Double Tap is a unique mixture of cleaning agents, mixed with Essential Oils and Eucalyptus. The oils lubricate and hydrate the surface while the Eucalyptus helps to "Turbo-Clean" your paint even at a neutral PH level. As with all Lithium products- our primary goal is to make the surfaces of your car "Healthy". The addition of these ingredients reduces water spots, and micro-scratches and never leaves a dry film on the surface. Most importantly, the continual use of this product is good for your paint.
What makes Double Tap car soap better than all the “Tech Soaps” on the market?
Uses natural essentialoils to help clean and lubricate the surface.
Double Tap Moisturizes and hydrates paint while it cleans.
Never leaves a film behind.
Incredible with a foam cannon or a good old bucket and mitt.
Smells like you are at a spa with the awesome scent of eucalyptus!
Expectations:
It is worthy to note: that the addition of Essential Oils are awesome for the health of your paint. However, they also make the suds heavier than traditional soaps. Therefore, it will not come out of a Foam Cannon like 'Shaving Cream' but instead, will sheet on the surface and create a protective layer of lubrication that will reduce scratching.
When we like to use Double Tap:
Whenever the goal is to clean and make surfaces healthy and hydrated. Oh, which is pretty much always.
What products are compatible with Double Tap:
We usually like to mix Double Tap with some Corona and Lynyrd Skynyrd. However, since that was a rather subjective survey, Ignite after wash is also a great choice.
FAQs
Q: Can this soap really hydrate paint ?
A: When the idea for this soap was originally conceived and mixed a lot of people in our office called B.S. To that comment our Chemist so eloquently asked the question- “Would you use dish soap to wash your car ? “ Everyone stopped due to the absolute absurdity of the question and said - “Of course not, it would dry out your paint” Then the statement was made “If you can dry paint out; then it would be logical to assume that you can also re-hydrate it as well ?” Everyone shut up and went and tried the mixture and nobody has said a word since:)
Q: Can I use Double Tap in a bucket ?
A: Yes, Double Tap works incredibly well in a good old bucket. But be prepared for some really soft hands.

I can’t say enough good things about Lithium. I’ve been using Lithium Car Care products for several years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. As a novice detailer who enjoys taking care of my own vehicles and helping others with theirs, Lithium has become my go-to brand.
My process starts with Double Tap Infused Car Wash, which does an incredible job getting the vehicle clean and ready for the next step. I then use Ignite After Wash to enhance the finish and help extend the protection of Ceramic Slam, which is one of my favorite Lithium products. I try to apply Ceramic Slam to the vehicles I work on at least twice a year, and the combination gives me the shine and protection I’m looking for.
For exterior trim, Trim Serum is my go-to. It keeps the black plastics and trim looking rich, clean, and refreshed.
On the inside, I start with Hyper Cleanse All-Purpose Surface Cleaner to clean and prep the interior surfaces, followed by Interior Space to help protect my dash, door panels, and other interior surfaces.
And then there’s Hide Rehab. I tried it on my leather seats and immediately fell in love with it. It does an incredible job rejuvenating and conditioning the leather and bringing it back to life.
What I love most about Lithium is that these are products I actually use and trust. They’ve helped me keep my 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 looking brand new, along with the other vehicles I work on.
I’m proud to share my experience because I genuinely believe Lithium offers high-quality products that can deliver outstanding results, even for someone like me who isn’t a professional detailer.
If you haven’t tried Lithium Car Care products yet, I highly recommend giving them a shot. You won’t be disappointed!
Love the outcome of my wash and detail on my 2015 Subie! Peeps ask me if it's a new 2025 model.... Nope...Its a 2015 that glows! Double Tap works... just like the entire line of LITHIUM... Thanks!
I detail cars and my go to vehicle wash is Double tap, it is an excellent car washing product. It has great cleaning abilities that leave a lasting shine effect for weeks.
Double Tap is an exceptional product that leaves my truck refreshed and renewed. I love the lather this product creates and the awesome results it leaves to remove dirt and grim. I highly recommend double tap to anyone that love a clean vehicle.
I'm very impressed with Lithium Auto Products so far and would highly recommend them over other brands. The DOUBLE TAP INFUSED CAR WASH is a must, though I have yet to try the IGNITE AFTER WASH that I purchased with this product due to it getting damaged in shipping. As soon as I contacted Lithium Auto they very quickly responded and will be sending a replacement. I'm looking forward to trying other products that Lithium has available as they definitely outshine the rest in my opinion.
This is the first time I’ve used the car soap and like the rest of this company’s products, it performs as advertised!
Keep up the great work and thank you for providing these products for the gear heads among us!!🇺🇸
Does amazing things on my Bronco’s molded roof panels. Great shampoo. If Lithium could find a way to reduce the viscosity and increase the concentration, they’d have the greatest shampoo ever.
Store owner replied:
Hi Chad, Thanks for your review. Yes we had to make some decisions when it came to our soap and one was shine and lubrication- vs shaving cream type suds. We chose to go with e benefits of the eucalyptus which is actually pretty heavy (molecularly speaking) so it want to weigh down the suds. Everything we make is 100% unconditionally guaranteed so please let us know if you are not happy with the results and we would be happy to provide you a refund or exchange. thanks team Lithium
Hey thanks I like the new products I received from Lithium Auto Care the products leave everything you use on your vehicle looking fresh like you just bought your vehicle new.
One of the best auto shampoos on the market! Such great cleaning soap with a phenomenal fragrance of Eucalyptus!!! It’s like a spa day! Im so glad I purchased the gallon!
Love this soap! Makes the shop smell like a spa day! The customers always comment on the great smell of eucalyptus when we use this soap. Great cleaning power, very lubricious, rinses away cleanly. One of the best soaps in the industry. Just a truly pleasant wash experience when I use this soap.
Purchased a gallon, decent soap. Gallon wasn’t sealed and was only 3/4 full. For what is charged, one would expect a full sealed 128 oz…..poor quality control.
Wow ! The Double Tap car soap is a well-balanced cleaning solution which does a deep cleaning while protecting your paint with a solution balance of the product. You can now safely clean and protect your paint AND turn out a great result when detailing your own car...

Perfect
This is the most perfect soap to use on a maintain eye wash out there hands down. The smell is out of this world. Like the rest of the lithium car care product, absolutely amazing stuff!!
Smells awesome cleans amazing
First of all, the soap smells amazing to me. Heck, I like eucalyptus a lot though. Secondly, the soap lathers great and the lubricity is solid. I tried the soap twice via bucket wash in the sun and early evening and doesn't dry fast which is good so there is no water spots or residue. Did prewash once with foam cannon and work equally as well. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed.
